Luke Laird Celebrates #1 Song
UMPG Songwriter Luke Laird recently celebrated his first number one single with co-writers Hillary Lindsey and Carrie Underwood. "So Small" was the first single from Carrie's multi-platinum release Carnival Ride. The song was in the top spot on the country singles charts for three weeks.
At the number one party Luke read through a list of people to thank for supporting him in his songwriting endeavors. Several members of his family were on hand to share his euphoria. Rivers Rutherford Celebrates 8th #1 Song!
Rivers Rutherford recently celebrated his 8th number one song with "These Are My People" recorded by Curb recording artist Rodney Atkins. The song is Atkins' third chart-topper from his album, If You're Going Through Hell. Rivers songs have been recorded by Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Gretchen Wilson and Trace Adkins to name a few.
