Award winning UMPG Songwriters at this year’s ASCAP awards include; “Chrome,” recorded by Trace Adkins, written by Anthony Smith, “Cowboys Like Us,” recorded by George Strait, written by Anthony Smith, “Raining on Sunday,” recorded by Keith Urban, written by Radney Foster, “Real Good Man,” recorded by Tim McGraw, written by Rivers Rutherford, “There’s More To Me Than You,” recorded by Jessica Andrews, written by Marcel, “Walk A Little Straighter,” recorded by Billy Currington, written by Billy Currington, “What A Beautiful Day,” recorded by Chris Cagle, written by Monty Powell, “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me,” recorded by Keith Urban, written by Monty Powell and “You’ll Think Of Me,” recorded by Keith Urban, written by Darrel Brown.

UMPG Nashville Songwriters picked up BMI awards for the following songs; "Walk A Little Straighter,” recorded by Billy Currington, written by Carson Chamberlain, “Concrete Angel,” recorded by Martina McBride, written by Stephanie Bentley, “Watch the Wind Blow By” recorded by Tim McGraw, written by Anders Osborne, “Wrinkles,” recorded by Diamond Rio, written by Ronnie Scaife, “She’s Not Just A Pretty Face” recorded by Shania Twain, written by Shania Twain and “Forever and for Always,” recorded by Shania Twain, written by Shania Twain.
