Music industry veteran, Michael Puryear, moved to Nashville after graduating from Abilene Christian University in 1973. He has worked in varied areas of the industry - ranging from jingles, booking and production, to his current role as songwriter and owner of Final Four Music, a joint venture with Universal Music Publishing Group. As a songwriter, Michael has had songs recorded by Glen Campbell, Larnelle Harris, Diamond Rio, Aaron Tippin, Gaither Vocal Band, Jessy Dixon, Dallas Holm, Point Of Grace, Truth, Billie Joe Speers, Jim Ed Brown, Western Flyer, Bruce Carroll, Clay Crosse and others. He was presented with a Dove Award by the Gospel Music Association for his #1 Bruce Carroll release, “The Peace Of The Rock” in 1993.
